Koh Tao Divers (KTD), founded in 1987, is the oldest dive center on Koh Tao, based beachfront on Sairee Beach with its own dive boat. Under owner Mikko Paasi (known for his role in the 2018 Thai cave rescue), the center is an SSI Award-winning, CCR-friendly operation offering the island's widest course range: beginner SSI certifications, specialty courses (wreck, nitrox, deep, sidemount, night diving), technical extended-range and trimix training, KISS Sidewinder and SF2 CCR rebreather courses, and SSI professional courses up to Divemaster and Open Water Instructor. Teaching is offered in English, Finnish and Spanish, with groups capped at 4 divers. Daily fun-diving trips run to Koh Tao's reefs, pinnacles and wrecks, with dedicated technical and CCR fun-diving options for certified divers.
