Klein Scuba is a PADI Five Star dive facility in Wausau, Wisconsin, founded by Phil Klein and serving the region since the late 1970s. The shop has certified nearly 5,000 divers and offers PADI Open Water scuba courses year-round, monthly Confined Open Water classes and a monthly Enriched Air Nitrox specialty course. Beyond training, Klein Scuba sells new and end-of-season instructional scuba and snorkeling gear, provides equipment rental and a full-service repair department, and organizes group dive travel trips. The shop also runs youth outreach programs including Discover Scuba events at summer camps and Open Water courses through local YMCAs and the University of Wisconsin Marathon County.
