Khao Lak Explorer is a PADI 5-Star Dive Center and dive resort founded in 2010 in Khao Lak, Thailand, offering liveaboards and speedboat day trips to the Similan Islands National Park, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Surin Islands and the famous Richelieu Rock, plus local wreck diving off Khao Lak. Its dive resort has 8 air-conditioned rooms and two swimming pools. Day trips run by fast catamaran or a larger comfort boat, with small dive groups (4-5 divers per guide), free hotel pick-up, and snorkeling options for non-divers and families. The center also runs PADI courses from Discover Scuba to Divemaster and Instructor level, and offers snorkeling trips, island overnight stays and land tours around Khao Lak. Operating only during the Similan diving season, October 15 to May 15.
