Kamala Dive Service is a small, one-man German-run dive school based at Kamala Beach on Phuket, operated by instructor Uwe Schust, who has lived and taught diving in Thailand since 1993 with over 15,000 logged dives. The school focuses on personal attention rather than large groups, teaching PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster in German or English. Free hotel pickup is offered from Kamala, Patong, Karon, Kata and Chalong beaches. Beyond local training dives at Racha Yai, the school also runs multi-day liveaboard safaris through the Similan Islands up to Myanmar, visiting classic Andaman Sea sites such as Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon and Koh Tachai.
