About
Islamorada Dive Center is a PADI 5-Star dive operation based at Three Waters Marina (MM 84.5), Islamorada, Florida Keys, running since October 2012. Two guided charters depart daily, 365 days a year, aboard the 46-ft dive boat "Aquatic Freedom" (up to 36 divers): a morning trip to deeper reef and wreck sites (Eagle Wreck, the Duane, Crocker Wall) and an afternoon trip to shallow patch reefs open to snorkelers too. Every dive is guided in the water by a PADI instructor. IDC also runs the full PADI course line from Discover Scuba through Divemaster, plus spearfishing/lobster charters and private charters. The on-site shop rents and sells dive gear (Cressi, ScubaPro, Aqualung and others) and PADI course materials. The center holds a NOAA Blue Star Operator designation, PADI 5-Star status, and Scuba Diving Magazine's #1 Attention to Safety (US & Canada) and 5x Readers' Choice awards.
