Immersia Freediving is a Sydney-based freediving school running courses out of Bondi and Manly, founded by Bella, a PADI Master Freediving Instructor and Molchanovs W2I instructor who has personally taught over 700 students and won the PADI Elite Instructor Award in 2021, 2022 and 2023. The school has created its own Immersia Freediving Safety Standards, which go beyond the requirements of its certification body, and teaches in small, non-competitive groups of no more than eight people. The course pathway runs from the PADI Beginner Freediver Course through the PADI Advanced Freediver Course, alongside dedicated freediver training and coaching sessions for those working on depth and technique. Advanced students combine a theory workshop, a pool session and open-water line dives to safely extend their depth and breath-hold, with certification fees and e-learning included. For scuba training, Immersia partners with Dive Centre Bondi to offer the full PADI recreational range. Beyond courses, Immersia runs bucket-list freediving expeditions such as swimming with humpback whales in Moorea, freediving with tiger sharks in the Maldives, orcas in Arctic Norway, and Galapagos land and sea trips, alongside a social diving community. The school has been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, Time Out Sydney and Urban List.
