About
IDive is a PADI 5 Star IDC and PADI ECO Centre based at the Fort Arabesque Hotel, Villas & SPA in Makadi Bay, 35 km south of Hurghada, running since 2006. The team offers guided dives on the house reef and local sites, snorkelling trips, PADI courses from beginner to Divemaster, an Instructor Development Course led by a PADI Course Director, and freediving courses. Equipment is Scubapro-Uwatec and Aqualung with Bauer compressors, insured through DAN Europe, and the centre runs free weekly marine biology lessons as part of its Green Fins and Adopt the Blue sustainability programmes.
