Huvafen Fushi is a luxury resort in North Male Atoll, Maldives, whose in-house 'Water Adventures' team runs a PADI dive centre alongside its watersports programme. The dive offering covers Discover Scuba Diving for first-timers (an introductory house-reef session, with an optional second excursion from the resort's dive dhoni), a two-day PADI Scuba Diver course, refresher dives for lapsed divers, and full PADI Open Water certification for guests who want to dive independently with a buddy. Already-certified divers can progress through a Scuba-Diver-to-Open-Water upgrade, PADI Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, and specialty courses, with daily guided dive trips exploring the reefs and thilas around the resort. The centre supplies dive equipment and offers underwater camera rental. Beyond scuba, the Water Adventures team runs excursions such as private yacht charters, big-game and sunset fishing, dolphin cruises, private turtle safaris, guided house-reef and night snorkelling, and a coral adoption programme, plus watersports including jet skiing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, kayaking, water-skiing/wakeboarding and tubing. A resident marine biologist ('Oceanpedia') is also available to guide guests through the resort's reef ecology.
