Hidrospot - Escola de Mergulho is a diving school based in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, near Porto, offering courses through the SSI training system. Its programme runs from beginner level (Try Scuba, Open Water Diver, SSI Explorers) through specialties, Extended Range technical diving and Public Safety Diver courses, up to professional levels such as Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and the Instructor Training Course (ITC). The school also runs its own freediving courses (Try Freediving, Pool Freediving, SSI Freediver) and supports SSI's Mission Deep Blue ocean conservation movement.
