Haliotis operates its Sesimbra dive center at Porto de Abrigo de Sesimbra, a pleasant fishing village located only 30km from Lisbon. Sesimbra is most likely the most sought dive spot in Portugal mainland, and its waters are part of Professor Luís Saldanha's Marine Park within the Arrábida Natural Park. The center has male and female changing rooms with a capacity for 60 people, hot water showers with towels, two classrooms, a technical zone with equipment to rent and a shop with the best brands, and is an Aqualung center with about 50 equipment sets available for customers. Dives go out on the boat Homarus, a 12-meter semi-rigid described as the best and largest dive boat operating in Sesimbra. Dives range between 5 and 10 meters for beginners and below 30 meters for more experienced divers and technicians, and night dives are possible during almost all the year. The mascot of Haliotis Sesimbra is the pipefish Agulhina (Syngnathus acus). The center holds Tourism licence 9/2009 and Operador Marítimo Turístico licence Nº17.
