Gili Conservation Dive Center is a profit-for-good dive centre on Gili Air, Indonesia, built around marine research, education and reef protection within the Gili Matra Marine Reserve. Linked to Coral Catch and Gili Shark Conservation, it runs conservation experience dives (shark and turtle photo ID, coral restoration, reef monitoring), PADI specialty and science courses (Shark Ecology, Sea Turtle Ecology, Ecological Monitoring), standard PADI recreational courses from Open Water to Rescue Diver, and multi-week professional research and Divemaster programmes; over 80% of the team is locally employed.
