Fumba Water Sports is the in-house PADI dive centre of Fumba Beach Lodge, on Zanzibar's Fumba peninsula inside the Menai Bay Conservation Area. It runs boat dives on the lodge's 8km house reef, Ukombe Reef (bottom 15-18m, top 3-5m), rich in macro life, soft corals and reef fish, as well as dives across Menai Bay's protected waters (5-35m), including reef-wall drifts, a seamount and coral gardens on a traditional Dhow boat. PADI courses on offer are Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver (5 specialty dives), with an eLearning option so guests can complete theory online before arrival.
