Freediving Planet is a freediving-only training centre in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines, and the first freediving Instructor Training Center in the country, operating since 2014. It is led by Instructor Trainer Jean-Pol Francois, former head of AIDA Education for six years and an International AIDA Judge, and is the only freediving centre in the Philippines offering an AIDA Judge course. Courses run the full range from a half-day Discovery Freediving taster and one-day AIDA 1 up through AIDA 2/3/4, Molchanovs Wave 1-3 and PADI Freediver/Advanced/Master Freediver levels, plus Instructor and Judge courses across AIDA, Molchanovs and PADI, with cross-over evaluations between agencies. Specialty options include Emergency First Responder (and EFR Instructor), Safety and Competition Freediver courses, and workshops on monofin, no-fins, sled/variable weight and equalisation techniques. The centre also runs guided freediving experiences with Moalboal's famous sardine run and its resident 'Mermaid of Moalboal'.
