Freedive Koh Tao was the first AIDA freediving school on the island, specialising in solving equalisation problems and coaching students toward greater depth. The school runs the full AIDA course line-up, from a one-day introduction through Freediver, Advanced Freediver and Master Freediver certifications, plus an Instructor course for those who want to teach. Each course combines pool sessions with open-water training dives from the boat, covering equalisation technique, breathing and relaxation, safety and depth training. Certified freedivers can also book one-on-one coaching dives to work on their personal depth with an instructor, including underwater photo and video. The small, personal-approach team is led by AIDA master instructors and competition-level coaches.
