Extreme Maldives Pvt Ltd is a watersports and scuba diving company founded in 2006 by owner Abdulla Falil, employing around 25 staff. It has won several industry awards, including Gold and Silver trophies at the South Asian Travel Awards (Leading Adventure Sports/Service Provider, 2018-2019) and a Corporate Maldives Gold 100 award among the Leading Companies of Maldives in 2020. The company operates two bases: Extreme Maldives at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort in North Male Atoll, and Extreme Dive Fuvahmulah, a 5-star PADI facility registered with the Maldives Ministry of Tourism on Fuvahmulah Island, known for near-guaranteed tiger shark encounters and one of the deepest dive pools in the Maldives. At Fuvahmulah, the team offers dive-and-stay packages combining accommodation, diving and airport transfers, tiger shark dives, pool try-dives and PADI courses, with a year-round season covering tiger, thresher, hammerhead, silvertip, white-tip, black-tip, grey reef and oceanic white-tip sharks, oceanic manta rays, whale sharks and Mola-mola.
