El Dive is a small dive center in El Nido, Palawan, founded in December 2013 by Japanese instructor Yoshi Ohtsuka, who has been based in El Nido since 2008 and diving since 1995. The shop runs daily fun dives — up to three a day, in small groups of four to six divers per guide depending on experience — around Bacuit Bay's reefs, including sites such as North Rock, Nat Nat, South Miniloc and an underwater tunnel at Helicopter Island, plus periodic night dives for advanced divers. Two traditional outrigger boats (bancas) handle daily operations, with staff preparing meals from local ingredients during day trips. El Dive's instructors are all PADI-affiliated and teach in Japanese, English and French, offering the full course range from Discovery Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster. The center has been a Green Fins member since 2015 and partners with the local environmental group Green Nido on beach and underwater clean-ups, also running a small souvenir shop with eco-friendly accessories and gear.
