Edgewater Dive & Spa Resort is a boutique, four-star resort on Dalaruan Bay in Puerto Galera, Philippines, a short ride from Sabang and set within the Verde Island Passage, part of the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Reserve known for having one of the highest concentrations of marine biodiversity on the planet. The property has 20 rooms (sea view, garden view and suites), a restaurant and bar, a spa on the water's edge, and is pet-friendly. Diving is run under its house brand Edgewater Divers, a PADI five-star dive centre offering the full range of PADI recreational courses, from Bubblemaker for kids to Divemaster, alongside freediving and technical diving options; courses are offered in English, Russian, French, Japanese and Tagalog. Guests can access more than 40 dive sites within about 15 minutes by boat, ranging from wrecks and muck-diving spots to drift dives and deeper technical sites, with an average water temperature around 28°C. The resort was founded by two former corporate executives who fell in love with Puerto Galera and built Edgewater around diving, family-friendly stays and support for the local community, including funding an education scholarship for local children.
