Eco2 Diving is an SSI Blue Ocean and PADI dive resort based in Mikindani Bay, on Tanzania's southern mainland coast near Mtwara. The centre pairs diving with hands-on marine conservation, running coral restoration and sea turtle projects with partners such as Bubbles & More and Reef Guru, and channels dive revenue into the local Marine Conservation Area Committee and its rangers. Guests reach a shallow, well-known muck dive site by walking straight in from the beach, or join shore and boat trips exploring Mnazi Bay Marine Park, with sunrise and night dives also on offer. The beginner programme covers Discover Scuba Diving, a Bubblemaker session for children from age 8, and a free monthly Pool Try Diving event; certified divers can book SSI and PADI courses through to Divemaster. Eco2 also runs snorkelling, whale-watching and dhow excursions, and operates the Ten Degrees South Lodge for guests staying to dive. A Mnazi Bay marine park entrance fee of about $23.6 per person is not included in dive prices.
