EACY Dive School operates on Aninuan Beach in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, as part of the Stairway Foundation's Environmental Awareness for Children and Youth program. It is a not-for-profit diving operation launched with support from Scuba for Change: every peso earned goes toward the foundation's child-protection and marine-conservation work, with finances kept transparent and externally audited. Diving takes place around Puerto Galera's Verde Island Passage, a stretch of water that a California Academy of Sciences expedition called one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth, with over 100 new species documented nearby. The school runs the full PADI course ladder, from a half-day Discover Scuba Diving taster through Scuba Diver, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and Divemaster, with specialty add-ons such as Deep, Night, Wreck and Nitrox available once operating. Guests can stay at the on-site Tamaraw Beach Resort.
