Down Under & Wave is the PADI 5 Star dive, watersports and excursions centre run by Silver Sands at W Maldives, on Fesdhoo Island in North Ari Atoll. The multilingual team of instructors, divemasters and watermen/women offer tailor-made diving in one of the Maldives' strongest atolls for marine life, including seasonal sightings of sharks, turtles and manta rays, direct access to the house reef, drift diving through channels and thilas (pinnacles), and complimentary Nitrox 32%. Alongside diving, the centre runs watersports (jet boarding, sea bobs, parasailing, jet skiing) and excursions such as turtle, stingray and nurse shark snorkelling, big game fishing, dolphin trips, manta ray snorkelling and sailing yacht charters.
