Diving Group Portofino is a full-service dive centre on the Italian Riviera, with bases in Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo (Genoa) on the doorstep of the Portofino Marine Protected Area — one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated underwater destinations. From here our boats reach signature dive sites such as the famous “Christ of the Abyss” statue, dramatic walls draped in red gorgonians, and reefs alive with groupers, dentex, moray eels, barracudas and more. We welcome everyone from absolute first-timers to seasoned technical divers. Beginners can start with a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or a full Open Water course, and we teach across the major agencies — PADI, SSI and SDI/TDI — right through the recreational ladder to Specialty, Rescue and Pro-level certifications. For divers who want to go further, we run a complete technical programme: TDI, UTD and IANTD courses in advanced nitrox, helitrox, normoxic and advanced trimix, plus sidemount and rebreather training and freediving courses with champion Gianluca Genoni. The centre is fully equipped with its own boats, on-site tank refilling (air, nitrox, trimix), a dive shop and an experienced multilingual team. Beyond scuba we also offer guided snorkelling and private boat charters along the spectacular Portofino, San Fruttuoso and Camogli coastline.
