Diving Center Morski Puz Rovinj

About

Diving Center Morski Puz (Morski Puz Diving Rovinj) is an official SSI Training Centre based at the Camping Vestar resort, on the beach about 5 km south of Rovinj on Istria's west coast in Croatia. Run by owners Maddy and Jure, the centre welcomes everyone from first-timers to professionals, offering the full SSI path from Try Scuba right up to Dive Instructor, plus the newer SSI programmes for kids such as Scuba Explorer and SSI Mermaid. The name Morski Puz means 'sea slug' in Croatian, a nod to the nudibranchs the team loves so much. Istria's waters are famous for their wrecks: divers can explore the legendary Baron Gautsch, Hans Schmidt (Istra), Giuseppe Dezza, Maona, Varese and John Gilmore, alongside reefs and island dive sites at Banjole, Sveti Ivan, Faro, Sturago, Figarola and Porer, and special permit dives in Brijuni National Park. Dives are offered as single tank or double tank trips by boat, as well as beach dives, with night dives available on request. With safety and enjoyment as the priority, the centre guides guests through the breathtaking underwater world around Rovinj.
