About
Divers Incorporated is a full-service PADI dive center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, teaching scuba diving since the early 1990s. The team runs the complete PADI education path, from the beginner Open Water Diver course through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and the Master Scuba Diver rating, plus a wide range of PADI specialty courses. Pool classes are kept small (limited to six students) and the Open Water program includes six open-water training dives with extra practice in DSMB use, navigation and dive planning. Beyond recreational training, Divers Incorporated is active in technical and rebreather diving, offering technical courses and serving as an authorized factory-level service center for Hollis Prism 2 rebreathers (annual service, five-year service, CE upgrades and repairs). The shop also runs a Weekend PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) program and hosts the DiverSync diving podcast, founded by the shop's CEO Rich Synowiec. The center specializes in Great Lakes shipwreck diving and organizes structured guided dives at White Star Quarry, plus trips such as a weekend charter to the SS Wisconsin out of Kenosha, a Munising/Lake Superior wreck weekend featuring the Kiowa, a five-day technical trimix expedition to Isle Royale, and tropical group trips (a Bonaire adventure). Divers Incorporated also sells and services scuba gear in-store: masks, fins, snorkels, regulators, gauges, BCDs and other accessories, along with equipment maintenance for all major brands.
