Dive Shack is an SSI dive center in Bang Tao, Phuket, run by instructors Chris and Karen. It offers half-day longtail-boat trips to the local sites of Koh Waeo and Tin Lizzy (20 minutes from Bang Tao, November to April), and full-day trips on larger boats from Chalong Pier to Phi Phi, Racha Yai, Racha Noi and the King Cruiser wreck, diving in small groups of up to 4 divers per divemaster. Try Scuba Diving experiences are available for complete beginners (max 2 students per instructor) at Koh Waeo or Racha Yai, and the center also runs SSI Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water courses. Trip prices include equipment rental, fruit and water; full-day trips also include breakfast, lunch, tea and coffee, with a shared transfer fee to Chalong.
