Dive Forster at Fisherman's Wharf has run PADI dive courses and charters from Forster, NSW, since 1972, diving the Port Stephens - Great Lakes Marine Park with a strong focus on Grey Nurse Shark aggregation sites. The dive boat "Avanti" carries up to 16 divers on charters to local sites such as Latitude Rock. The center runs PADI courses from Open Water through Advanced, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, plus Discover Scuba try-dives, freediving training and PADI Learn to Freedive, guided lake and ocean snorkelling tours, refresher courses for returning divers, spearfishing, equipment servicing and organised dive travel.
