DIVECUBE is described as Asia's First Diving Pool, an indoor dive centre and hotel in Taichung, Taiwan, opened in 2017 after five years of planning. The facility features a pool with five depth zones reaching 21 metres, including a 3m experience zone, 7m shipwreck zone, 11m cave zone and a 21m blue-hole zone. The wreck and cave environments were designed in collaboration with the team behind the film Life of Pi. DIVECUBE holds PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre status and offers small-group PADI courses including freediving, scuba, mermaid and specialty courses, as well as hotel rooms, a yoga room, conference room, rooftop terrace and underwater photography services. The centre serves as a training base for the Taichung Fire Department's underwater rescue unit.
