Divecenter Merlin, founded in 1994, is a PADI dive center in Sosúa, Dominican Republic, owned by Jürgen Rumpenhorst. It offers a full range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, plus specialty courses such as Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Night Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox, all led by certified PADI instructors. Guided dives to Sosúa's coral reefs, swim-throughs and underwater tunnels are run in small groups of no more than six divers, and tanks are filled using a professionally maintained Bauer compressor. The center also arranges diving and snorkeling excursions for cruise passengers arriving at Amber Cove or Taino Bay in Puerto Plata.
