Dive Base Coiba is a PADI dive resort in Pixvae, Veraguas, on Panama's Pacific coast, operating since 2014 as the area's first dive school. It bills itself as the closest and least crowded access point to Coiba National Park and the Contreras Archipelago, about 20 minutes away by boat, and works with ScubaPro and XDeep gear. The centre offers day dive trips and multi-day all-inclusive dive-and-stay packages (lodging, meals, equipment and guiding included), local diving around Pixvae, and the full PADI course ladder from Discover Scuba Diving through Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox) and specialty courses such as underwater photography, Underwater Naturalist, Navigation, Deep, Drift and Whale Shark Awareness.
