Demersus is the best-known active diving community in the Kaliningrad region, training divers and running dive trips for more than 10 years, alongside underwater archaeological research in the Baltic Sea. Its base sits on a sandy beach at the Sinyavino quarry in Yantarny, with a hot shower, toilet, barbecue area and camping space, and several underwater installations (including a motorcycle and a shark model) for visiting divers to explore. The club runs a dive shop and service center in Kaliningrad (ul. Turgeneva 20A) certified for Aqualung, Apeks, Scubapro, Oceanic/Hollis, Poseidon, Cressi, Tecline and Tusa equipment, and offers its own freediving classes.
