Coral Garden Diving Center is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre based in Aqaba, on Jordan's stretch of the Red Sea. Real people, real divers, real customer service – the team welcomes everyone from first-time snorkellers to technical and rebreather divers, running daily trips from both the shore and the centre's own 20m boat out of Ayla Marina. Aqaba is blessed with warm (22–25°C), exceptionally clear water and 100+ ft visibility, almost no current, and more than 1,200 species of fish set against vivid hard and soft corals. Divers can explore world-class wrecks – the Cedar Pride, the Lockheed TriStar and Hercules C-130 aircraft, the Taiyong crane barge, the Tank Wreck and the Underwater Military Museum – as well as fringing reefs, gorgonian-covered walls and macro-rich seagrass meadows full of nudibranchs, seahorses, frogfish and cuttlefish. The centre offers the full PADI course range from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water up to Divemaster, plus a wide list of PADI specialties (Deep, Wreck, Nitrox, Sidemount, Underwater Photographer and more). It also caters to technical divers with twin-tank, sidemount and SSI SCR Mares Horizon rebreather diving. Course fees include hotel transfers, equipment rental, e-learning material and certification, with no hidden fees – and every guest receives photos from their dives as a gift. An on-site dive shop covers all equipment needs.
