Compass Diving is a PADI 5-Star dive resort based on Atauro Island, Timor-Leste, offering personalized diving with small classes of up to 4 students per instructor. It runs the full PADI course ladder -- Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and Divemaster -- plus speciality courses, alongside custom diving trips away from the crowds on Timor-Leste's biodiverse reefs, part of the Coral Triangle. The Discover Scuba Diving experience runs 3.5-4 hours and includes one open-water dive in Dili or Atauro, with the option to add extra dives. The Open Water course combines self-paced e-learning, a day of confined-water pool training in Dili, and four open-water certification dives, which can be done as shore dives in Dili or as boat dives around Atauro Island with an overnight stay at the resort. Beyond diving, Compass also offers whale-watching tours, guided snorkeling, and its own eco-lodge accommodation on Atauro Island.
