Chindonan Dive and Beach Resort sits on its own small island in the heart of Coron Bay, Palawan, about a 30-minute speedboat ride from Coron town, with a marine-protected house reef directly in front and easy access to Coron Bay's famous WWII Japanese shipwrecks. The resort is rated a PADI 5-Star Dive Resort and keeps a full-time in-house PADI instructor on staff, backed by divemasters and dive crew during high season. It runs the complete PADI recreational course ladder, from the children's Bubblemaker programme through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder up to Divemaster, plus specialty courses such as Deep, Wreck, Nitrox, Night Diver and Diver Propulsion Vehicle. Academic coursework can be completed through PADI eLearning before arrival, so guests who pre-book can spend more of their stay diving.
