About
Brisbane Scuba is a dive charter operator based at Manly Boat Harbour, Queensland, run by a crew who have been diving Brisbane's waters for nearly 50 years and organising dive trips and charters since 1985, led by NAUI Course Director Steven Rossberg. Their purpose-built dive boat runs regular 2 and 3-dive day trips most weekends (and often midweek) to Moreton Bay, Moreton Island and Stradbroke Island, visiting sites such as Manta Bommie, the Cementco Wreck, Cherubs Cave, China Wall, Flinders Reef, Gotham City and Jons Cave, with trips generally departing early morning and returning by mid-afternoon. The boat has an onboard toilet and hot shower, and trips include a cooked lunch with vegetarian/vegan options. Brisbane Scuba also runs the full range of NAUI/PADI-style dive courses from Learn to Dive and Advanced Adventurer through Stress & Rescue, Refresher and Divemaster, plus night dives and specialty diving such as underwater photography, technical and rebreather (CCR) diving. The team also offers scuba gear servicing, including regulator servicing by certified technicians and hydrostatic scuba tank testing, and several times a year organises extended dive holidays to overseas and Australian destinations.
