Blue Wave Diving Zanzibar is a small, German-founded PADI dive shop based in Michamvi, Pingwe, next to the well-known Rock Restaurant. It was started by Daniel Mutile Munga and Idi Abdhala Stambulli, joined in 2018 by German diver Lenz Leberkern, who saw the potential of the area beyond the increasingly crowded Mnemba Conservation Area. The center runs PADI dive courses, boat dive trips, snorkel and dolphin-snorkel trips at Kizimkazi, equipment hire and nearby accommodation, and still visits Mnemba when it's quieter alongside many of Zanzibar's other dive spots and the Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond in Nungwi. The team also arranges local excursions such as spice tours, Stone Town trips and turtle farm visits, and offers hotel pick-up for guests staying nearby.
