Blue Hole Diving Gozo (formerly Diveworld Gozo) was founded by Wojtek and Mariola Karkusiewicz, who moved from Poland to Marsalforn, Gozo, after years of diving holidays there. Wojtek, an SSI diving instructor and underwater photographer diving since the 1980s, and Mariola, who runs marketing and day-to-day operations, lead a small team focused on safety, buddy diving and marine conservation. The centre is based in Marsalforn with an air-conditioned office, new recreational and technical diving equipment, and two cars for transport to dive sites across Gozo. It runs shore and boat dive packages around Gozo and Malta, night and deco dives, Discover Scuba try-dives, and courses from Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water, Deep Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox and Perfect Buoyancy.
