Big Blue Diving is a long-established dive school based on Sairee Beach, Koh Tao, founded in 1991 by Michael Spjuth as the second dive shop on the island and now one of the largest on Koh Tao. The school runs its own dive boats and equipment, and its SSI-qualified instructors and divemasters teach the full range of recreational courses from beginner try-dives through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and Master Diver, plus technical diving, professional Divemaster/Instructor training, marine conservation courses and kids' programs. Certified divers can also join scheduled guided fun-diving trips to reefs, pinnacles and wrecks around Koh Tao.
