Bidasoa Buceo

About

Bidasoa Buceo is a community diving club based in the Basque Country and Navarre, running out of Hondarribia and Pamplona with additional activity in Bilbao and Tafalla. The club is registered in the Sports Entities Register of Navarre (No. 2887) and led by a small team of PADI instructors, including a marine biologist and an emergency-room doctor, all diving since the early-to-mid 2000s. It teaches the full PADI course path from (Junior) Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor, plus specialty courses, Discover Scuba Diving, the Reactivate refresher and Bubblemaker for children. The club also runs boat-based snorkelling trips on the Cantabrian coast out of Hondarribia, popular with families. Additional services include diving, technical-diving and freediving insurance, guided or unguided boat and shore excursions, tank refills, equipment rental, multi-brand gear advice and sales, and a trusted external technical service for equipment. Club membership costs 40 euros a year.
