The Extended Range course is the gateway to full on technical diving. This course will take divers beyond 40 meters, allow staged decompression, and introduce you to diving in a full technical diving system. The Extended Range divers course can be completed as a stand alone program encompassing advanced nitrox or as a shorter, add on program for divers who have completed the Advanced Nitrox certification course. Extended Range is a prerequisite for any technical diving program in the SSI TXR Range. An SSI Recreational Sidemount course is made up of short academic sessions, with practice in the water to ensure comfort and safety with this new equipment configuration. With the proper training, you can enjoy recreational sidemount diving anytime. You will learn everything about the background, history, benefits and equipment of sidemount diving. In practice, you will learn how to configure your equipment and manage it in the water, recognizing that bouyancy and movement brings you a new diving experience. Duration: 3-4 Days
