Bakersfield Scuba Center is a local, family-owned dive shop serving California's Central Valley for almost two decades. It is a PADI 5 Star IDC training center, offering the full range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor, plus technical courses (Tec 40/45/50, sidemount, trimix) and specialty and first-aid certifications. The shop stocks gear from major brands including Shearwater, ScubaPro, Suunto, Cressi, Zeagle and DUI, and organizes local boat dives off the California coast (including Catalina Island) as well as yearly destination trips to Bonaire, Belize, the Bahamas, Fiji, Honduras and Mexico.
