About
Australian Diving Instruction (ADI) is a PADI 5 Star IDC Centre based at Corio Quay Road in Norlane, Geelong, teaching PADI courses since 2012 and running a dive club that traces back to 1984, now with 500+ members. Instruction is offered in English, Chinese and French, and the centre has certified over 1,400 divers, with about half of them going on to further training and 5% progressing to become PADI professionals. ADI covers the full PADI pathway, from Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Master Scuba Diver, plus a wide range of specialties such as Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck, Deep, Drift, Sidemount and Underwater Photography, and professional-level Divemaster and Instructor courses. Complete scuba equipment - mask, snorkel, fins and boots - is included with entry-level courses at no extra cost, and the rental fleet uses ScubaPro gear. The centre is also a PADI RTO offering nationally accredited First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Provider training. As a 100% AWARE Dive Centre, ADI donates to the PADI AWARE Foundation for every course taught and runs regular clean-up dives at local sites. Beyond courses, members can join guided local dives, equipment servicing, personalised gear fitting, dive club events, and organised dive trips.
