Asia Scuba Instructors is a network of PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centers across Thailand (Koh Chang, Phuket), Indonesia (Amed, Sanur/Bali, Komodo) and the Philippines (Moalboal), running PADI Divemaster and PADI IDC (Instructor Development Course) programs every month, year-round. Courses are led by Course Director Marcel, working with partner dive centers such as Sea Fun Diver in Phuket and Azul Komodo, and can be completed in English or German. The Divemaster course is the first professional level in recreational diving and the prerequisite for the PADI IDC; the IDC itself trains certified Divemasters to become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors (OWSI), with an option to continue straight to Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT). Packages include EFR Instructor and Nitrox Instructor training, course materials, lunch, transfers where needed, an IDC T-shirt, access to an online classroom, and job-finding assistance after certification.
