About
Aquapro is a British/Turkish-owned PADI and CMAS dive centre based at Bitez Marina near Bodrum, run by instructors Kenan and Joby Dogan, active since the mid-1990s. Diving takes place from their motor yacht New Atlantis, equipped with steel and aluminium tanks, an onboard compressor, full first aid and oxygen, and a large dive preparation deck. The centre visits over 20 sites in the Aegean around Bodrum and Black Island, including two reefs, walls, a cave, the Pinar I and Coastguard shipwrecks, and a sunken Dakota C-47 plane, with marine life such as grouper, barracuda, moray eel and occasional turtles or dolphins. Courses cover the full PADI and CMAS range from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, plus PADI Specialty courses and PADI Rebreather courses on Poseidon rebreathers. A typical day departs Bitez Marina at 9:00am for two dives with lunch served on board, returning around 13:00-14:00.
