Aqua Hut is a full-service dive facility in Toledo, Ohio, offering training from beginner through instructor level along with group dive trips to exotic destinations and local fun dives at nearby quarries. All classes are taught privately in an 88-degree indoor heated pool, with unlimited free pool practice time before open-water certification dives. Students complete academic training online through SSI, then finish open-water checkout dives either locally at a quarry, on an Aqua Hut group trip, or on vacation using a referral form. Beyond core Open Water certification, Aqua Hut runs SSI specialty courses (Deep, Navigation, Night & Limited Visibility, Search and Recovery, Equipment Techniques, Enriched Air Nitrox, Stress and Rescue), TDI technical diving courses, a Boy Scouts scuba merit badge program, and React Right First Aid/CPR/AED/O2 training. The shop also sells and rents scuba equipment with a try-before-you-buy policy, and organizes 6-8 group dive trips a year to exotic locations.
