Soufriere, Saint Lucia
About
Scuba St. Lucia is the on-site dive operation of the Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain resorts near Soufriere, on St. Lucia's south-western coast. Described as the island's longest-established dive center, it is a five-star PADI operation that holds the PADI Green Star Dive Center Award for environmental practice, and its international staff have a combined 125 years of diving experience. The center runs both beach and boat dives from three dive boats, including the shore-accessible Anse Chastanet reef with depths from about 20 to 140 feet, wall dives such as Superman's Flight beneath the Pitons, and the Lesleen M wreck. It teaches the full range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba through Divemaster, and runs an invasive Lionfish removal program along with guided night dives timed to the annual coral spawning.
