Aiyanar Beach & Dive Resort is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort set on a mountainside above Sitio Looc, Barangay Bagalangit, in Mabini, Batangas, about 2.5 hours from Metro Manila. The resort overlooks Anilao, one of the most popular dive destinations in the Philippines, known for its mix of reefs, sandy slopes, caves, piers and coral gardens, and for being a starting point for many divers in the country. Onsite is a purpose-built dive center with gear for all diving needs, plus a two-sided infinity pool (up to 15 feet deep on one side) used for pool training. Aiyanar runs the full PADI course ladder from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, and organizes dive packages to sites around Anilao as well as further out to Verde Island and Puerto Galera. In recent years the area has become popular for underwater photography thanks to its rich and varied marine life. Beyond diving, the resort offers ocean-view rooms, a clubhouse restaurant and bar, and a poolside area for relaxing between dives while watching the sunset over the coastline.
