South Moon 1 is Sea Queens' new 30-metre steel liveaboard, launched in early 2025 and sailing out of Sharm El Sheikh, right next to Ras Mohamed. Built by divers for divers, she offers 12 air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms (ten twin cabins, one queen-size suite with a panorama window, and one cabin with bunk beds), a cosy salon and dining area, two sun decks, and a spacious dive deck with a watermaker and nitrox compressor on board. Routes cover the best of Sinai, the Northern Wrecks, Brothers Islands, and Dahab, with three buffet meals a day and international cuisine. Sea Queens itself dates back to 1993, now run by owner Mohamed Samir with a crew that has been with the company since 2005.
