Sea PearlSea Pearl

S.V. Sea Pearl is a traditional wooden sailing schooner operated by Silhouette Cruises in the Seychelles. Built in 1915 in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands, as a fishing vessel named Dirk, she was the last sailing ship in the Dutch herring fleet by 1930 before being converted in 1999 into the second schooner of the Silhouette Cruises fleet. Guests sail between the granite and coral islands of the Seychelles aboard air-conditioned cabins, with a dive instructor among the nine-person crew and a covered back-deck lounge, sun deck and bow net for relaxing between stops.
