Saildive runs liveaboard diving trips through the Azores aboard a Lagoon 450F sailing catamaran, styled by its own crew as "an apartment in the sea." NAUTA-designed cabins bring in natural light through large windows, with lateral access to the double bed and a private en-suite shower. Because the boat can reach areas well offshore, trips favour open-water sites away from the coast where bigger pelagic species show up - sperm whales, blue whales, marlins, tuna and sharks - alongside freediving and underwater photography/video charters for professionals. Days mix diving with sailing between the three Azorean islands, water sports (windsurfing, kayaking, SUP, underwater scooters) and, when anchored away from the marina, stargazing under some of the darkest skies in the mid-Atlantic; four meals are served daily on board.
