Nakadive is Etel, a 54-foot (17-metre) sailing cutter based at Nosy Komba, near Nosy Be in northern Madagascar, offering diving and cruising expeditions along Madagascar's west coast, the Mozambique Channel and the remote Eparses Islands (Europa, Bassas da India, Juan de Nova, the Glorieuses). Equipped for deep-sea navigation with a satellite link, a 12-person life raft and therapeutic oxygen for diving emergencies, she carries 5 double cabins and 3 bathrooms, a large saloon and a kitchenette. Diving is aimed at level 2 / Advanced Open Water divers and beyond, with dive sites off Mitsio (north of Nosy Komba) and Radama (south) plus further offshore sites - typically 2 dives a day and occasional night dives, on remote and rarely-visited reefs. Motorised dinghies handle diver pick-up, and fresh, locally sourced cuisine is prepared onboard.
