M/Y Andromeda is a custom-built, 5-star Red Sea dive safari yacht (40m length, 8m beam) operated by Red Sea Boats Holidays, powered by twin 1,150 HP MAN diesel engines with two 138kW Mercedes generators. She carries 13 cabins -- one honeymoon suite, two double-bed cabins and ten twin-bed cabins -- all air-conditioned with hot-water showers and Western-style toilets, with bedding and towels provided. Amenities include an air-conditioned European-style saloon with bar and big-screen TV, plus an Arabian-style coffee lounge with shisha and Arabic music. The open sun deck offers loungers and a stocked fridge, with a covered lounge area forward of the saloon. The dive deck has two rinse showers plus an enclosed shower, 26 x 12-liter and 10 x 15-liter tanks (DIN and INT), free weights, two 40hp Zodiac tenders, and Nitrox fills up to 32% oxygen. Freshwater capacity is 15 tons plus a 3-ton/day watermaker, with 70 tons of fuel. Safety gear includes two life rafts, 40 life jackets, two 50L oxygen tanks, a first-aid kit, eight fire extinguishers and a satellite phone.
